The Federation has set up a number of committees to be responsible for its concerns in certain areas of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
There are thus:
- Maternal & Perinatal Health Care Committee
- Oncology Committee
- Reproductive Endocrinology Committee
- Journal Committee, which supervises the Asia Oceania Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology (now renamed Journal of Obstetrics & Gynaecology Research)
- Population Dynamics Committee
- Endoscopy Committee
- Ultrasound Committee
- Urogynecology Committee
- Fellowship Selection Committee
- AOFOG Advisory Committee
These committees report to the Council and General Assembly, which is normally held every two years in rotation during congresses of the Federation.
