On behalf of Asia & Oceania Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of India and Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology , it is our pleasure to invite you to the XVIII Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

 AOCOG 2002 will provide a platform for discussing a wide variety of Obstetric and Gynaecological topics. We have organized an impressive Programme that brings together experts in both the basic and clinical aspects of this rapidly progressing field of medicine.

             The Congress is to be held in Bangalore, the Garden City of India : a city which combines old world charm of Indian tradition with modernism earning the sobriquet  the ‘Silicon Valley of India’. Connected to all the major cities in India by road, rail and air and boasting of an International Airport, travel to Bangalore is easy and comfortable.  The salubrious climate is certain to make your stay very pleasant. The accompanying person registration fee includes a mini satchel, half-day sight seeing tour of Bangalore, lunch on 6,8,9 and 10th of September 2002. banquet on 8th September 2002and admission to spouse programme kiosks.

 

Payment :

All registration fees to be paid in US dollars by Bankers draft drawn on a Bank in Bangalore. Registrants should bear all bank charges.

 Cancellation Policy:

  • Refund of  Registration fees on written request on or before June 1st, 2002.
  • Refund will be made after deducting  25% of the amount towards handling charges
  • Refund requests received after July 1st, 2002 will not be entertained.
  • Refunds will be issued after the conduct of AOCOG 2002 conference.

Call for Free Papers/Posters:

Abstracts covering all aspects of Obstetrics and Gynaecology may be submitted for review. Submitted abstracts that are accepted for oral presentation will be grouped thematically into free communication sessions. Those accepted, as posters will be prominently displayed. An abstract form is included with this announcement.

 

Deadline for submission: March 31st, 2002.

 

Conditions for Abstract submission

The abstract must be written in English

Abstracts should be received by March 31st 2002.Late submissions may not be published in the official abstract book.

No withdrawals are allowed after April 30th 2002.

Only authors who have paid the full registration fees are entitled to submit an abstract. Each author can present a maximum of two papers.

Abstracts are subject to the approval of the Free Paper committee. Authors will be notified of acceptance or rejection by May 31st, 2002.
